From Challenge to Completion
This Sierra Foothills project required two structurally sound building pads on sloped terrain with native soils and varying site elevations. The key challenge was creating stable, level pad areas while balancing cut-and-fill operations and preparing the site for future residential construction.
Allstate completed precision cut-and-fill grading to establish engineered elevations for both building pads. Native soils were over-excavated where necessary, moisture-conditioned, and recompacted to achieve the stability and density required for home and shop foundations.
Careful earthwork planning and compaction practices allowed the site to be shaped to design specifications while addressing the challenges of foothill terrain. The result was two level, structurally prepared building pads ready for the next phase of development.
